A small team architecture practice. We take on a small number of projects at a time, meet every client in person, and design each building from first conversation to final detail.
We believe architecture should read twice - first by the body, then by the eye. The body comes first. A room either feels right when you walk into it, or it doesn't, and no amount of clever drawing can fix that later.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
Our building are materially honest, structurally calm, and detailed like furniture. We choose a small number of materials and use them carefully. We detail thoroughly, and we stay close to the build until the building is finished.

Studio 9 is a three-person architecture studio. We keep the practice deliberately small, so the people you meet are the people who design and see through your project - from the first conversation, through planning and detailing, to the final stages on site. Nothing is handed down a chain.
